              When we designing a circuit we need lots of calculations of resistance,Here i introduce a software ELECTRONIC ASSISTANT. Electronics Assistant is a Windows program that performs electronics-related calculations. It includes a resistor colour code calculator, resistance, capacitance and power calculations and more. Details of calculations can be saved or printed.

Tools for Beginners


LED Tools
                 Here are two simple tools for the Hobbyists to check their Prototype boards. These use LEDs as visual indicators for the quick check 


Continuity Tester
               This can be used to check the continuity of PCB tracks, wires, transformer windings, fuse, diodes, resistors etc. It uses a Red LED to give the positive indication of continuity.


 Polarity Indicator
                 This simple LED tool indicates the polarity of connection. It uses a bicolour LED to give two indications. If the polarity is correct, Green LED lights, and if polarity is reversed, Red LED lights.

Ultrasonic switch






Description.
                              Now a days we are using lots of remote controls based on different working principles like radio frequency, infra red etc... Here I am introducing a new type of remote control based on ultra sonic sound .
                            The transmitter part of the circuit is build around IC1(NE 555).The IC1 is wired as an astable multi vibrator operating at 40KHz.The output of IC1 is amplifier the complementary pair of transistors ( Q1 & Q2) and transmitted by the ultrasonic transmitter K1.The push button switch S1 is used the activate the transmitter.
                                   The receiver uses an ultrasonic sensor transducer (K2) to sense the ultrasonic signals. When an ultrasonic signal is falling on the sensor, it produces a proportional voltage signal at its output. This weak signal is amplified by the two stage amplifier circuit comprising of transistors Q3 and Q4.The output of the amplifier is rectified by the diodes D3 & D4.The rectified signal is given to the inverting input of the opamp which is wired as a comparator. Whenever there is an ultrasonic signal falling on the receiver, the output of the comparator activates the transistors Q5 & Q6 to drive the relay. In this way the load connected via the relay can be switched.

38 KHz IR transmitter using Astable Multi vibrator

The circuit is a simple IR transmitter operating in the 38 KHz, the frequency of most IR sensors used in TV. A simple IR transmitter can be made by the help of making a 38KHz Astable multivibrator an astable multivibrator can produce oscillations this oscillations can  be given to an IR LED then we can use it us an IR transmitter

                                
                           The Atable multivibratior can be built using a popular IC 555 generates output pulses with a frequency of 38 KHz. The output frequency can be set by VR exactly to 38 KHz.
